What’s coming up at Narrative Church

This Sunday

We will continue our sermon series, Abiding with Jesus in a Technological World, and will head into John 5:1-18. Jesus heals a man who had been disabled for 38 years on the Sabbath, the day of rest. The Jewish leaders are enraged, especially when Jesus claims equality with God. Who is this Jesus who breaks our expectations of who God was supposed to be?

This Sunday is a great day to visit!

Sunday Lunch

There’s something special about sharing a meal with other people. So once per month, we eat lunch together after the service. This gives us a chance to get to know one another better over a delicious meal. Sunday Lunch days are a great day to visit so you can begin building meaningful friendships right away. The meal is provided by the church, so no need to bring anything!

Advent

Sundays: November 29-December 20

Advent is a season where we prepare our hearts for remembering how much God loves us - that He would send His Son to come and live among us. Each service will have an advent candle lighting, Scripture reading about the story of Christ’s birth, and a time of reflection about what Jesus’ birth means for us today.

Christmas Eve

We will gather for a special evening service commemorating Christ’s birth. We will sing Christmas songs and meditate on the gift of Jesus coming.
